AS says the talks are happening at the Spanish club’s stadium Ipurua and the sides are not far from reaching an agreement.
Watford have reportedly offered €8m for the player, but Eibar are pushing for his release clause, which is of €10m.
The Spanish side need more money since they will still look for a replacement for the player. They also won’t get the full transfer amount, as his youth clubs Athletic and Danok Bat will have a share of it.
The article also says that Eibar have rejected a €5m offer from Bristol City for the striker Sergi Enrich. The 24-year-old scored eleven goals and made nine assists last season.
