Lens manager Will Still has continued to insist he’s paying no attention to rumours linking him with the Southampton job, and a planned trip to England reportedly proves he isn’t interested.

Allez Lens cover the situation around the manager today as he continues to be linked with various jobs in England, including Southampton.

The Saints are on the hunt for their next manager ahead of next season, when they will be competing in the Championship once again after a miserable season in the Premier League in which they’ve barely beaten Derby County’s record low points tally.

The belief is that Southampton will look to start again with a manager they can build around and that’s seen Still continuously linked with the job.

He, though, is paying no attention to those rumours and instead insists it is all just part of the wider game.

“The offseason is always the same: lots of rumours in the press and on social media. It’s part of everyday life in the world of football,” he said when asked about the rumours.

Allez Lens believe that there is ‘proof of his commitment’ to the French club too, reporting that Still has already planned a training camp in England this summer. That’s scheduled to talk place from July 28th to August 1st at St George’s Park training centre, England’s training complex.

He’s also scheduled pre-season friendly games before Ligue 1 officially resumes, including two prestigious games at Bollaert-Delelis.

This is all seen as proof Still is fully focused on Lens and, coupled with his comments, has no interest in Southampton. Whether that’s actually the case, especially with Still’s well documented history of flirting with a return to England, remains to be seen.
