Jude Bellingham and his advisors have ruled out a move to Chelsea in the summer thanks to the club’s ‘erratic’ transfer policy.
That’s according to SportBILD, who say the Borussia Dortmund star and his team aren’t considering a switch to Stamford Bridge.
Bellingham is set to be one of the major stories of the summer transfer window, with the newspaper explaining that staying in Dortmund is ‘no longer an option’ for him.
He is gearing up to move on once the summer comes around and most of Europe’s big clubs are in the race for him, particularly Real Madrid, who are seemingly unhappy with their current selection of central midfielders.
Chelsea have been linked with a move, as has most of the major players in Europe, but it seems internally Bellingham and his team are not interested.
They have already decided to rule out Paris Saint Germain as well as Chelsea from the list of options, and the reasons for the latter is they are concerned by the Blues’ ‘seemingly erratic purchasing policy’.
Todd Boehly and co have been spending wildly since the summer, with this month alone seeing them spend big on Enzo Fernández, Mykhaylo Mudryk, Benoît Badiashile, Noni Madueke, Malo Gusto, Andrey Santos, David Datro Fofana and a loan deal for João Félix.
The deal for Fernández would seemingly rule out the need for Bellingham but it seems the player and his team aren’t interested anyway.
