Southampton loanee Cedric Soares claims not to be concerned about where he will be playing next season.

Currently preparing to feature for Inter Milan in the Europa League clash against Eintracht Frankfurt, the right-back was asked in a press conference about the Italian side’s buying option over him.

The 27-year-old then claimed to be happy at Inter, but wouldn’t mind return to the Saints.

“I have not looked at this story of redemption,” said Cedric Siares (via Calcio Mercato). “It is a great honour to be here, Inter gave me confidence and I have it in me. I will always give my best on the pitch, then at the end of the season we’ll see the decision: if they keep me, fine, otherwise, life goes on.”

Since Cedric joined Inter, the Italian media has been publishing different claims about whether the club will keep him or not. Some outlets said the club never had the intention to use the buying option, since the player was only a quick fix, however, others said it would all depend on his performances until the end of the season.

The Portuguese international made the move from Southampton in January, and has only five appearances for Inter Milan so far.
