The agent of Watford striker Luis Suárez, Miguel Alfaro, has insisted it’s too early to talk about his future this summer.
Suárez is currently on loan at Spanish side Real Zaragoza and has proven to be a big hit at the club, scoring 17 goals in all competitions thus far.
That form has earned the Watford forward plenty of attention, with clubs in Spain and Italy both rumoured to be keen on signing him.
Lazio are one of those who have been listed among his suitors, with several reports indicating they have made their interest apparent to the Hornets.
Alfaro was recently interviewed by Radiosei about his client Luis Alberto when the subject of Suárez came up.
“With Tare we talk about different players,” he told the station relayed by La Lazio Siamo Noi.
“The DS also controls many names that have remained secret.
“Suarez is an explosive, ambitious player; he can get to the top. But for now, it is too early to talk about him.”
Where Suárez does end up will be heavily dependant on what Watford decide to do with him moving forward.
Most reports have indicated they are keen to bring him back to the club after his performances this season and use him themselves.
That, though, is likely to depend on their own future, with them still involved in a relegation battle should the season ever be resumed.
