Spanish newspaper Marca report Sevilla have made a €6m offer for Jordan Amavi. The French fullback has been linked with a number of clubs over the past year, but so far there hasn’t been a concrete effort to sign him this summer.
Sevilla are changing that, and they’re prepared to push to try and get the French fullback. Marca say that whilst Sevilla have offered €6m, Aston Villa are holding out for something closer to €10m, which is reported to be the club’s asking price.
Diario de Sevilla are also reporting the interest from Sevilla, and explain the Spanish club are prepared to make an economic effort to try and sign the 23 year old this summer. That probably won’t mean such an effort as going right up to the €10m it’s believed Aston Villa want.
The Championship club have claimed interest in Amavi for a while, which isn’t a surprise, but what was surprising was a claim they’d turned down a €25m offer from China. Amavi himself turning the move down would make sense, but not Aston Villa, and if that was the case the club look to have lost out.
