The Henrikh Mkhitaryan-Justin Kluivert swap story has been a near constant in the Italian media over the past few days, as work continues between Mino Raiola, AS Roma and Arsenal to try and get a deal done.

There’s been some issues with the amounts players are being valued at, with the Italians believing their Dutchman is worth more than what the Englishmen are prepared to pay for him on top of the Armenian.

Calciomercato reckoned on Monday there was only a couple of million difference between the two sides, but Corriere dello Sport believe it’s a bit more than that.

It’s explained Arsenal value Kluivert at €25m, while they think Mkhitaryan should be on the market at €20m, meaning they would only want to pay around €5m + the Armenia international to strike a deal.

Unfortunately, that isn’t how Roma see it, as they want a ‘cash payment of at least €10m’ on top of the former Borussia Dortmund star for the ex-Ajax starlet.

So, the difference currently stands at around €5m, meaning it’s now up to those leading the negotiations to try and find a happy ground for all involved.

And if we know anything about Mino Raiola, it’s that he tends to get that sort of thing done.
