The Turin media continue to hold their tongues very hard to avoid saying that Emre Can’s move from Liverpool to Juventus is done.

On Tuesday, newspaper Tuttosport already had a story claiming the transfer was ‘practically done’, and now, they’re back with an article explaining how the Old Lady beat the competition.

What the outlet does is to describe Juventus’ steps on convincing Can to join them, in a chase which started last summer, with the club offering Liverpool €35m for the midfielder.

This early decision to sign him is said to have put the Italian side in the lead, and the constant flirting ended up convincing the player to join them.

Another fact that made Can more comfortable in joining the Old Lady is the inclusion of a release clause in the contract, even though the club are not used to agreeing to such.

Juventus are said to have beaten Real Madrid, Liverpool and especially Bayern Munich in this battle, even though a big turnaround could still change things.

As we’ve pointed out many times, the media local to Real Madrid and Bayern Munich have never really gone strongly with Can interest.
