There are claims in the Turkish media that Fenerbahce are still looking to keep hold of Bright Osayi-Samuel despite attention from England.

The former QPR defender has been linked with a return to England and in recent days there have been reports of transfer talks with Crystal Palace.

Sabah today report on the latest developments regarding the future of the Nigeria international and they say Fenerbahce have offered the player a three-year contract.

It’s claimed the Istanbul club are prepared to pay Osayi-Samuel €6m over that period, but the right back is looking for a salary of €2.5m a season. The Turkish media outlet say Osayi-Samuel and his agent have yet to respond to Fenerbahce.

Osayi-Samuel’s contract expires in the summer and a few days ago we covered claims from Turkey that Crystal Palace are in pre-contract agreement talks with him. The Eagles are looking to seal a deal for him to join up with them in the summer.

There were recent reports he was in attendance at Selhurst Park for December’s game against Arsenal and that he wants a return to London to be reunited with his partner.
