On Tuesday, we covered a story from Correio Dello Sport saying Milan have turned their attention to signing Dejan Lovren from Liverpool.

The newspaper claimed the Rossoneri are looking for new options in the market, and the defender seems like a good alternative, since he isn’t getting much playing time with the Reds.

Now the Italian media continues to push for it, as today website Calcio Mercato brings another take on the situation.

They claim Milan are indeed interested in signing the 29-year-old, but it turns out he may be too expensive for the club.

Calcio Mercato says Lovren currently makes almost €6m at Liverpool, and to move to Milan, he would demand between €4m and €5m. This is considered to be a problem for the Italian side.

The website also says the transfer would cost between €25m and €30m, but they make no comments if the fee would be too much.
