The latest transfer values released by the CIES Football Observatory research group have been published, and will certainly provide some controversy as opinions obviously differ.

At the top of the tree is Kylian Mbappe, with the 19 year old seeing his estimated transfer value put at €216.5m.

Behind him is 25 year old Harry Kane on €197.3m, and he’s one of several Tottenham players to make the top tens for their positions.

For central defenders, Spurs pick up another second place with the value of 22 year old Davinson Sanchez put at a huge €97.2m.

Tottenham claim the title for most highly valued midfielder, with 22 year Dele Alli given a potential transfer fee of €163.4m.

Despite a difficult period since winning the World Cup with France, Hugo Lloris manages to get himself to ninth in the goalkeeper list, and the 31 year old has a value of €41.3m.

Tottenham have no representation in the fullback department, although old boy Kyle Walker comes second on €88.3m.

Contract length comes into account for the players, which has helped the Tottenham stars rise so highly, as the club have secured many of their best players for some time.

Kane’s deal lasts until 2024, the same end date for Alli and Sanchez, with Lloris’ current deal running until 2022.
