Inter Milan continue to be one of a number of Italian clubs interested in signing Moussa Dembele from Tottenham.
The Belgium international has been linked repeatedly with a move to Serie A in recent weeks but there doesn’t seem a club yet ready to match the €25-30m it’s reported Tottenham have been asking for.
Inter aren’t willing to go to the level Spurs require but won’t give up and every day or so a new plan from the club is reported in Italy.
This time it’s Calciomercato bringing the claims and they say Inter have made a new offer of €12m plus a player. It’s not an exact player, there’s no one man specifically in mind, and Calciomercato suggest it could be 29 year old fullback Danilo D’Ambrosio or 26 year old midfielder Matías Vecino.
It doesn’t sound like a deal which would wow Daniel Levy and those in charge of transfers at Spurs, and even if they have interested in an Inter player they’d probably prefer to keep the deals separate.
Dembele himself remains at the World Cup with Belgium and it doesn’t appear that even he has given approval to Inter yet.
