On Friday night, French newspaper L’Equipe revealed the transfer saga of Georges-Kevin N’Koudou and Clinton N’Jié is finally coming to an end.
Both the players have been waiting to complete their transfers to Tottenaham and Marseille, but there was an unexpected delay.
N’Koudou arrived in London almost a month ago, and has already completed his medical examinations.
On Saturday, L’Equipe have shared more details on N’Koudou’s pending departure to Tottenham.
It is reported a transfer fee of €11m was agreed between both the clubs, after Marseille’s president Gunter Jacob and Daniel Levy shared dozens of calls and emails.
The idea of N’Koudou signing on loan with an option to buy was also dismissed in ‘recent hours’.
The 21-year-old is expected to sign a five-year contract, and everyone is now waiting for an official announcement. N’Koudou signed for Marseille last summer in a €1.5m deal, and the Ligue 1 club are set to make a quick profit on the impressive youngster.
It was earlier reported Tottenham had agreed a €13m for N’Koudou, but it seems Daniel Levy has been negotiating well as always.
