Eberechi Eze has progressed so much at Crystal Palace that him being linked with some of the biggest clubs in Europe is of no surprise.
While he only has one goal and assist this season, the 26-year-old’s performances at Selhurst Park have made sure that he is now an England international, having contributed to 49 goals in his stint at Crystal Palace so far.
His performances have attracted interest from Italy and there is now talk of a sensational swap deal in Italy.
SpazioJ today have looked at Eze’s situation at Palace, citing TuttoJuve‘s report about Juventus’ interest in the England international.
Napoli are also mentioned as an interested party, and SpazioJ have mentioned a strategy Juve can use to lure the Crystal Palace man in a €50m move.
A swap deal has been mentioned as an attractive possibility and to convince the Eagles, the Bianconeri could insert Douglas Luiz in a potential move.
The midfielder has failed to impress in Italy since his €50m arrival from Aston Villa and it’s believed can be used as bait to land Eze. This could also help Juventus beat competition from the Premier League.
While the possibility of signing the versatile Eze might be attractive for Juve, Douglas Luiz is still very much a new signing and selling him prematurely may be the wish of the Italian media but also seems unlikely.
Previous reports have said he could be used in part pay to take Joshua Zirzkee from Manchester United, and it feels the media around Juventus now see the Brazilian as something of a commodity.
