Over the past couple of weeks, we have seen a few articles in Italy looking at the future of Leicester City’s Dennis Praet.
The Belgian is currently on loan at Torino in Italy, where he had slowly but surely established himself as a key player for Ivan Juric until the metatarsal fracture suffered in early February.
This is expected to see him miss the rest of the season, but that doesn’t mean his future can’t be away from the King Power Stadium.
Toro News looked at the Leicester man’s situation over the weekend, explaining he has ‘proved to be a very important element and his absence is making itself felt’.
The problem the Serie A side is that the club would need ‘about €15m’ to ‘take him from Leicester’, which they describe as a ‘considerable amount for a player who will turn 28’.
Not only that, but he is ‘prone to injuries and currently on the sidelines with a broken foot’.
The decision will ultimately be Urbano Cairo’s, the club’s president, who would have to green light any move for Praet in the long-run, and it’s now likely up to Juric to convince him this would be the right decision for the club.
