Greek website PAOK Mania reports Leeds United defender Giuseppe Bellusci’s agent will hold talks with PAOK today, and they’ve had confirmation of that from the player’s representatives.
Earlier today we covered reports from Italy that discussions are set to take place over Bellusci’s transfer from Leeds United.
PAOK Mania have reported they’ve contacted Bellusci’s camp, and confirmed meetings with PAOK about a transfer to Greece. It’s been claimed by the Greek website Carlos Zambrano is the number one choice for PAOK, but the Leeds United defender is still seen as an option.
Bellusci’s time at Leeds United looks to be coming to an end after Thomas Christiansen confirmed to the BBC the player isn’t in his plans. The 27 year old spent last season on loan with Empoli, and has in recent weeks been linked with a move away from Leeds United.
The player’s first choice will be return to Italy, but PAOK may be too good an opportunity to turn down.
