FC Porto made an attempt to sign West Ham United’s Luis Guilherme towards the end of the winter market.

On winter deadline day, O Jogo reported the Dragons had contacted West Ham for the 19-year-old. A day later, claims from Brazil stated there was a verbal agreement between the two clubs, but regulations in Portugal stopped them from signing him.

Fast forward to April and Record again points out the Primeira Liga club had looked at the West Ham player in the last window.

The report states Porto have no plans to return for the Brazilian in the summer window and consider the ‘dossier closed’.

West Ham signed the winger from Palmeiras in June 2024 and the move hasn’t worked out for him so far. Guilherme has been limited to 100 minutes from nine games so far and his situation hasn’t improved after Graham Potter replaced Julen Lopetegui in January.

The Hammers could let the South American leave, at least on loan, after this season.

Feyenoord look at the attacker in January and earlier this week, claims from the Dutch press stated they will revive interest in the next window.
