Stoke City are on the verge of completing the signing of Borussia Dortmund’s young forward Gabriel Kyeremateng.

The 19-year-old, who is a product of the Bundesliga outfit’s academy, has climbed up through the ranks of their youth system.

Having scored seven goals for the Under-19 side in the 2016/17 season, he struggled to find the back of the net in 19 matches played in the last campaign.

German publication Kicker claims the teenager ‘could soon’ be a player for the Potters, who will play in the Championship next season following their relegation from the Premier League… and who want to return as quickly as possible.

It is claimed that Kyeremateng is already in the West Midlands.

Kicker doesn’t mention why the player has travelled to England, but our guess is that he is most likely to undergo his medical at Stoke. This isn’t tourism.

There is also no mention of the transfer fee, despite the report claiming Kyeremateng could soon join the English club.
