There’s been a lot of talk in the past 24 hours about Paul Pogba thanks to his agent Mino Raiola.

The super agent gave an interview to Tuttosport where he made it clear his client was going to leave Manchester United in the near future.

Pogba’s deal at Old Trafford is set to expire in June 2022, and while there was talk of him potentially renewing, Raiola said that wouldn’t be happening.

He also added there was the possibility of Juventus being a landing spot for the France international, such is his relationship with the club from his previous time there, as well as his past teammates.

That being said, bringing Pogba to Italy next summer would still be expensive, and therein lies the issue for the Serie A club.

According to Italian journalist Tony Damascelli, Juventus don’t have the money.

He told Calciomercato.it: “The return of Pogba is a nice idea, but it’s difficult to pull off. They don’t even have the money to sign Fabio Quagliarella. They don’t have a single euro to spend on the market. They can only do a deal if someone leaves for someone to come in”.

Previously, an intermediary named Ivan Reggiani, told the same website: “Even his teammates in England think Pogba could return to Italy, to Juventus. The operation is well underway, around €50m plus some important bonuses”.

You’ll have to choose who you believe, but it seems the Serie A champions are going to have to find a lot of money down the back of the sofa if they want to bring their former midfielder back to Turin
