Southampton’s doctors are ‘optimistic’ that Armando Broja will be fit for Albania’s upcoming clash with England, despite issues with a muscle injury.
The striker picked up the setback in the clash with Aston Villa on Friday, which had left his participation in this international break in doubt.
Reports yesterday from Albania covered the situation yesterday, explaining that Southampton had asked for extra time to assess the injury before releasing the striker for international duty.
Talks between the two parties were said to be continuous, but at the minute, everything was looking positive, and the Saints were optimistic about his chances.
Lajmifundit follow that up today and explain that the Southampton striker has started ‘intensive treatment’ in London to try and solve the issue.
He’s set to join Albania the day before the game with England, with his participation in the game to be decided 24 hours before.
The doctors are ‘optimistic’ about his chances of being fit, though, meaning Albania should have one of their key players fit for an important game, and Southampton fans seemingly have nothing to worry about.
