Paul Pogba is perhaps having his worst season as a Manchester United player. The midfielder has been in and out of the team, due to managerial decisions and fitness issues, and no longer seems the key to the club’s future success.
Quickly eclipsed in the team by Bruno Fernandes, Pogba now has to find a role in which he can express his talents but also add to Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side.
The European media believe a transfer is on the way, and that sentiment was helped with recent comments from France manager Didier Deschamps, who didn’t shy away from talking about the player’s difficulties at Manchester United.
The Italian newspaper are convinced the Frenchman ‘will be sold’, it’s just a question of where he ends up.
Real Madrid, Juventus and PSG are pushed forward as options, and it’s the latter team which has been brought into the picture recently. The problem for Manchester United, Pogba and Raiola, if it’s true all parties want a transfer, is finding someone to pay a reasonable fee as clubs struggle with the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic.
