Rangers are looking at Stanley Nsoki and he could leave TSG Hoffenheim ‘to join’ Philippe Clement’s side late in the summer window.

That’s at least what L’Equipe are reporting, and they state that Rangers could try to sign him on a loan deal.

The 25-year-old joined the Bundesliga side from Club Brugge in 2022. Since then, he made 33 appearances in all competitions, of which 11 were from last season.

Nsoki’s deal lasts until 2027 but could leave the German club in search of regular game time this season. Rangers could open their door to take the Frenchman on loan and their interest would be driven by Philippe Clement.

The Rangers manager was in charge at Club Brugge, when they signed the centre-back from OGC Nice in 2021. The report says Philippe Clement would like to bring him to Ibrox before the window closes on Friday.

According to L’Equipe, discussions have been ongoing in ‘recent hours’ to take the player to Rangers.

To sum it up, Philippe Clement would be keen to reunite with his former player. Rangers are in talks to sign Nsoki on a loan deal.
