Four days ago, Bild reported Eintracht Frankfurt’s Omar Marmoush is keen on moving to the Premier League, where Liverpool are one of his dream clubs. It was also stated the Bundesliga side want €40-45m to start talks for the striker’s sale.
The Egypt international has starred this season, managing nine goals and six assists from nine matches.
Liverpool could help Marmoush fulfilling his dream of playing in the Premier League.
Sky Deutschland journalist Patrick Berger took to X, formerly known as Twitter, to claim the Reds are interested in the 25-year-old.
His compatriot, Mohamed Salah, is in his final year of contract at Anfield. The former AS Roma man has talked about the possibility of leaving Liverpool at the end of this season.
Therefore, the Merseyside club are looking at the potential options to replace Salah. The journalist claims they have ‘discussed and monitored’ a few players. This includes the Eintracht Frankfurt star and Borussia Dortmund’s Karim Adeyemi.
Marmoush’s contract lasts until 2027, and Berger states his club want to offer him a new deal.
It’s to be noted he’s been mainly used as a striker and a left wing, while the 22-year-old German has operated across the front three for BVB this season. Salah has been deployed on the right side of Liverpool’s attack.
