Leeds United’s Tyler Adams is the ‘latest name’ to be added to Inter Milan sporting director Piero Ausilio’s notebook, according to Gazzetta dello Sport.
The Serie A side’s chief made a trip to Qatar to watch a few players live. He is set to return to Italy tomorrow while his deputy, Dario Baccin, will arrive in Doha.
Among the players observed by Ausilio is the Leeds midfielder, who has emerged as a transfer idea for the Italian club.
The Nerazzurri director intended to draw up his own report on Jesse Marsch’s man, who was already in Inter’s target list.
Watching Adams live in action has ‘increased’ Ausilio’s desire to ‘make an attempt’ to bring the Whites star to the San Siro.
Leeds United took the USMNT midfielder from RB Leipzig in the last window and handed him a five-year deal. He has made 13 league starts for the English club and has already demonstrated his qualities and attributes in the Premier League.
Although Ausilio is keen to make an attempt for Adams, Gazzetta warn it will be a ‘very complex’ operation for Simone Inzaghi’s side to take him away from Leeds. If there is ever an opportunity to land the American, Inter want to sign up for the transfer race.
