The transfer window in England will close in two days and there will be European clubs waiting to make their move for UK based players once that deadline passes.
Turkish champions Galatasaray are looking to bring in a defensive midfielder to partner Jean Michael Seri, who they loaned from Fulham earlier this summer.
According to Turkish newspaper Aksam, Galatasaray are chasing Chelsea’s Danny Drinkwater and Tiemoue Bakayoko.
Both players were left out of Chelsea’s final friendly game against Borussia Monchengladbach last weekend and Aksam say Galatasaray are eager to sign them.
Aksam reports Galatasaray board member Sukru Haznedar is currently in London to hold transfer talks with Chelsea as he’s looking to get both central midfielders once the English window ends.
Bakayoko spent last season on loan at AC Milan and made 31 appearances for the Serie A side. Drinkwater didn’t play a competitive game for Chelsea last season and is under contract with the London club until June 2022.
