Juventus have included Fulham’s Joachim Andersen on their wanted list for January, according to claims from Italy.
Gleison Bremer’s injury has resulted in the Serie A side looking for a new centre-back in the winter market. This has been revealed by their technical director, Cristiano Giuntoli.
Gazzetta dello Sport points it out and provides more on the options available for the Turin club. The Fulham player gets a mention as he’s seen as a possible target.
Paris Saint-Germain’s Milan Škriniar is seen as an ideal candidate because of his past spell at Inter Milan and experience of playing in the Champions League. Andersen should also be taken into account.
With regards to the Denmark international, it’s claimed Giuntoli likes him from his time at Sampdoria. The 28-year-old was previously on the director’s list and the latter has ‘never lost sight’ of him.
The Old Lady don’t have enough resources to strengthen their defence in January and so may look to sign Andersen on loan.
Over at Tutto Juve, they state the Fulham defender has a ‘suitable profile’ to fit the needs of Thiago Motta’s side. Andersen is considered as a ‘valid option’ for Juventus if he were to arrive on a loan deal.
Marco Silva’s side took the Dane from Crystal Palace in the summer window. It’s unlikely Fulham would let him leave in January.
