Palermo sporting director Rino Foschi will today be in London to hold talks over the future of Franco Vazquez. The Serie A side are looking to offload the Argentine to the highest bidder with West Bromwich Albion and Watford in the frame to sign the playmaker.
Giornale di Sicilia have revealed Foschi has travelled to England in the hope they can demand €25m for Vazquez from any Premier League side interested in signing the attacking midfielder.
It’s been claimed WBA and Watford are leading the way to sign Vazquez, although Tottenham Hotspur have shown an interest in the past few weeks. Both clubs are hoping to bolster their attacking options this summer, and the Palermo star is an option.
Yesterday we covered reports from Italy that WBA were strongly linked with Vazquez, but face competition from Serie A clubs.
Napoli and Fiorentina have been showing an interest in the South America, but Palermo are keen to sell to a Premier League side in order to maximise his transfer fee.
