Besiktas sporting director Ali Naibi has flown to England to finalise a deal for Stoke City defender Bruno Martins Indi, report Turkish newspaper Sabah.
This week we covered claims from Turkey that Besiktas are interested in the Dutch defender and Sabah say they are now in the final stages of completing the transfer.
It’s reported Besiktas have already reached an agreement over personal terms with the Stoke City player and he will earn €1.5m a season if he moves to the Vodafone Park.
However, an agreement with Stoke City has yet to be reached and Sabah claim the Championship side want €6m. Besiktas reportedly want to pay €4m but in three separate installments.
The 27 year old has also told Stoke City he wants to leave the club in order to join the Super Lig side, and Naibi is looking to use this to his advantage during the upcoming transfer talks.
Sabah believe a deal for the former FC Porto player should be completed before the weekend.
