Fanatik report Fenerbahce sporting director Damien Comolli is currently in England to finalise a deal for Leicester City midfielder Adrien Silva.

The Portuguese midfielder is expected to leave Leicester City during this transfer window and he’s also been linked with a move to the likes of Sporting Lisbon, PSG and AS Monaco.

According to the Turkish newspaper, initial talks between Leicester City and Fenerbahce have been positive and the Istanbul club are hopeful of getting the player on a loan deal.

His attacking style is suited to Fenerbahce manager Ersun Yanal’s system and the Turkish manager is said to be open to working with Silva for the second half of the season.

Silva joined Leicester from Sporting for €24.5m in the summer of 2017 but has failed to establish himself as a starter with the Premier League club.

This season he’s made just two appearances for Leicester City and is under contract with the Foxes until 2021.
