OFK chairman Daniel Kindberg has told the Swedish media the valuation for his star forward Saman Ghoddos has increased.

The Swede has been linked with a move to Queens Park Rangers, after they put in a bid for the 23 year old this summer.

Speaking to Fotbol Direkt, Kindberg was asked about the future of the QPR target after the player was previously valued at 20m Swedish Krona: “The value is SEK 40-50m. That is the cost now. If we were to sell, for example in the winter, then it must be to a big giant. Otherwise, we want him for the playoffs for the Europa League.”

During the last window we covered reports from Sweden that QPR had tabled an offer of £1.9m for Ghoddos, which was rejected by OFK.

At the time QPR were given encouragement by OFK, after they said they would consider selling the forward if the offer was good for the player and his club.

If QPR do go back in for Ghoddos in the new year then the Championship side are likely to face competition from French side Metz, who were also keen to sign him this summer.
