Two days ago, Tuttosport reported Nottingham Forest and Fulham are in the picture to sign Juventus’ Douglas Luiz and the Reds have already made contact.

It was also said Nottingham Forest and Marco Silva’s side have the funds to meet the Old Lady’s request in the winter market.

Saturday’s edition of Corriere dello Sport takes a look at the chance of Fulham or Nottingham Forest securing the midfielder’s services.

It’s claimed Nottingham Forest, Fulham and Manchester City are all keeping an eye on the Brazil international’s situation.

He’s made two starts for the Serie A side since joining them from Aston Villa last summer. There was expectations Luiz would take Manuel Locatelli’s place at Juve, but the Italian has cemented his place under Thiago Motta.

Corriere state the 26-year-old could make his third start against Torino today and discuss his future. It’s claimed Luiz will be available for transfer especially if there’s a tempting offer from England.

Juventus are hoping for €45m for the South American and the report claims it is ‘difficult to obtain’. They seem to have accepted Nottingham Forest or Fulham won’t meet the demand for Luiz, and any permanent transfer would almost certainly have to be for less.
