Andreas Pereira was one of the many Manchester United players who seemed to find in Italy an escape following his years with the Red Devils.
The 25-year-old is currently having a season-long loan spell at Lazio, and despite the expectations for a permanent move, that seems unlikely to happen for now.
As website Citta Celeste covers a post on Instagram made by the player, where he claims the Serie A side will bounce back from their last defeat, they give their opinion on his future at the club.
The outlet writes it’s ‘very difficult to think’ that Lazio will buy Pereira at the end of the loan spell, as his price is set in €25m.
Since joining the Italian club at the end of the season, the midfielder could never fit in as a regular starter in Simone Inzaghi. He has just one goal and two assists in 21 appearances for the club so far.
As his contract with Manchester United only expires in 2023, perhaps it will take a little longer until the Red Devils can find a permanent solution for him.
