Graham Potter left Brighton & Hove Albion to become the Chelsea manager in September.
The Blues wasted no time in bringing the 47-year-old to Stamford Bridge, after sacking Thomas Tuchel.
Potter’s move to Chelsea has seen them linked to Leandro Trossard. He is in his final year of contract and Brighton reportedly retain an option to further extend the deal until 2024.
On September 24th, the Belgium international insisted it’s pointless to link him to the Blues after his former manager joined them. That has not stopped reports discussing interest from the west London club and others.
Roberto De Zerbi’s man has been quizzed again about the reports of Chelsea’s interest in his services.
“It’s very difficult to answer that. That will have to wait until then. I’m not on it at all right now. Brighton and the World Cup are the next goals. Afterwards we’ll see where it ends,” Trossard told Play Sports, relayed by Voetbal Nieuws.
There have also been rumours of Arsenal, Liverpool, Newcastle United and Atlético Madrid looking to sign the Brighton player.
Trossard has scored five goals and registered two assists from nine league matches this season, and that run includes a hat-trick against Liverpool at Anfield.
