Joleon Lescott could still be leaving Aston Villa this window. According to reports from Italy, the defender is looking for a move out of the club and he was offered to the Serie A side Pescara.

CapturarGazzetta Dello Sport claims that well known Italian agent Andrea Pastorello, who has just worked on Alberto Aquilani’s transfer from Sporting to Pescara, is involved in a potential Lescott move.

Pescara’s board are now said to be considering the signing, and the manager Massimo Oddo has already contacted his counterpart at Aston Villa, Roberto Di Matteo.

Lescott’s contract at Aston Villa is expiring in 2017. He signed from West Brom last summer for £1.2m.

The defender isn’t much wanted at Aston Villa, and many fans will be happy when the transfer saga is over, as long as it results in an exit.
