Former Fenerbahce star turned journalist Ridvan Dilmen still believes Everton target Oguzhan Ozyakup will leave Besiktas in the next transfer window.
Dilmen made similar comments last week about the former Arsenal player.
The Beskitas captain has been linked with Everton in the past week, with claims the Premier League side are preparing a bid for the player.
Fanatik have reported on comments Dilvan made to Turkish TV channel TrtSpor before last night’s game between Beskitas and FC Porto: “I feel Oguzhan will leave Besiktas in the 2nd half of the season, and the developments show this.”
There were claims last week Everton are preparing a cut price offer of €13m in January, and are ready to open talks with the Turkish champions.
If Everton fail to get a deal done in the next window they can speak to Ozyakup in the new year with regards to a pre contract agreement, and the possibility of signing him on a free transfer next summer.
Ozyakup recently lost his place in the Beskitas stating eleven and may have to move in the next window to protect his place in the national team.
