While Manchester United have made it clear that Paul Pogba will not be at the club next season, he’s technically still their player until June 30th.

That’s when his contract with the club ends, but he is still free to talk to other teams about a move in the meantime, with both Paris Saint-Germain and Juventus linked with a move.

The Italian media have been pushing the idea of a return to Turin for the soon-to-be-ex-Manchester United man, which is understandable, and their view is that a deal could be close, but their French counterparts see it differently.

RMC Sport on Friday took to Twitter to reveal that Paul Pogba is ‘waiting for the official arrival of Zinédine Zidane at Paris Saint-Germain to start talks with the club’.

The idea that the former Real Madrid manager could take over from Mauricio Pochettino has grown in the last few hours, with reports in France claiming the Ligue 1 champions already have an ‘agreement in principle’ with him.

This could speed things up for the Manchester United midfielder, who has never hidden his admiration for the France legend.
