Darwin Nunez is expected to complete his transfer to Liverpool on Monday.

Final agreement for the move came on Sunday, and the Uruguayan will sign a six year contract should everything go as planned with his medical.

Record, a Portuguese newspaper, was the first to bring the claims of the Reds seriously going for the move and making an offer, and in their Monday edition they explain the value of the transfer and what triggers the bonus payments.

According to their report, Liverpool will be paying €75m initially, and then a further €5m after Darwin Nunez has played ten games for the club. A further €10m will be due after 60 matches, and the final €10m rests on collective and individual achievements.

Making a total of €100m.

The player’s salary will be €6m a year after tax, according to Record.

Over at O Jogo, they say the player actually travelled to England on Sunday.

They also go with the €75m plus €25m total, and the €5m after ten games. O Jogo then say €10m will be payable after 25 matches, and the full set of bonuses due after 60 games.

So, if Darwin Nunez plays 60 matches for Liverpool then it’s claimed Benfica will be paid €100m in total.
