The amount of Manchester United’s reported offer for Fenerbahce’s Ferdi Kadıoğlu has been revealed, even with Brighton and Hove Albion seemingly favourites for his signature.

Sabah cover the situation around the defender today, explaining that three Premier League sides are currently chasing him and detailing the differences in their offers.

They say that Manchester United, Arsenal and Brighton are currently ‘testing the waters’ for the defender, who impressed at Euro 2024 with Turkey.

The Seagulls are currently favourites as they’ve made the highest offer to date, totalling €35m. This was offered in instalments, hence Fenerbahce resisting.

Manchester United, on the other hands, came knocking on the door with a €30m offer and then sat at the table with the Turkish side ‘with a higher offer’ in terms of the initial cash payment.

That would surely be more tempting to Fenerbahce, but Sabah add that they’ve learned the Turkish side’s management have made a deal with Brighton and the player’s decision on the matter is now key to what happens next.

Given it was reported yesterday that he had told his club he wanted to make the move, it would seem the Seagulls are at the front of the queue.
