Nottingham Forest are closing in on the signing of Danilo from Palmeiras.
Following several reports in the past 24 hours, outlet UOL now comes up to say the Reds are in advanced talks for the transfer.
It’s said there are only ‘details’ for the final agreement to be made between Nottingham Forest and Palmeiras. The move would be done for that €20m amount which was offered on Monday.
The clubs are now said to be discussing the payment method and also when the transfer will be done. It’s said the Brazilian side would like to keep the player for six more months, and the Tricky Trees ‘admit’ they could accept that condition.
According to UOL, Danilo has already been telling people close to him that he’ll play with his former teammate Gustavo Scarpa at Nottingham Forest.
Even though Monaco are also in the race for the signing, it’s said it’s really the City Ground side who are leading the race now.
With UOL being a very reliable outlet in Brazil, it really seems like a matter of time until other outlets back up that information.
