Earlier today we covered reports from the Turkish media that Leeds United forward Caleb Ekuban is on the verge of signing for Trabzonspor.

The Leeds United player has now arriveed in Turkey to have his medical ahead of a season long loan spell with the Super Lig club. Ekuban will earn €300k whilst in Turkey.

His transfer to Trabzonspor is also being reported in Italy with claims the move could be made permanent next summer.

According to TMW, the Turkish side will loan the former Chievo player with a right of redemption and that he could sign as early as today.

Ekuban doesn’t seem to be in the long-term plans of Marcelo Bielsa and may need to leave Leeds United before the remaining European transfer windows close on Friday.

The player has yet to feature this season for the Championship club and Trabzonspor could give him the opportunity to get games.
