Arsenal have reportedly lost the race for Brazilian goalkeeper Gabriel Brazão.

It’s Italian newspaper Tuttosport who claims it today, saying the 18-year-old has chosen to sign for Inter Milan instead.

The outlet writes that Arsenalhave pushed until the end to get the signing, but ended up being told by representatives that the player ‘has chosen Inter’.

The Nerazzurri are set to pay €3.5m to sign the player from Cruzeiro.

As they don’t have a spot for a non-EU player in the squad, they’ve made a partnership with Chievo, keeping the player at the club as their third goalkeeper until the end of the season.

To accept the collaboration, Chievo will be signing the Inter player Felice D’Amico in exchange.

Gabriel Brazão is the main goalkeeper in Brazil’s squad for the 2019 South American U-20 Championship, and will be wearing the number one jersey in the tournament between January and February.
