Haberturk report Turkish club Goztepe have agreed a deal to sign Cameron Jerome from Derby County as they look to bring in an attacker before tomorrow’s deadline.

It’s claimed the English forward will fly to Turkey for his medical later today, before his move to the Super Lig club is confirmed.

Earlier this week we covered claims from Turkey that Jerome is a target for Goztepe following talks with his agent, and it now seems they are on the verge of landing the Derby County man.

There are no reports if Jerome will be loaned or sold permanently to the Turkish club, but this should become much clearer once he’s undergone his medical.

Jerome was expected to leave Derby County this summer despite only joining the Championship side from Norwich City in January. He’s yet to feature under Frank Lampard in the league this season.

The English striker has 10 months left on his contract with the Rams.
