After bolstering their squad in the summer window, Tottenham Hotspur have enjoyed a good start to the season, managing three wins and a draw from first four matches.
It seems like the north London club are done with making new additions and are working to offload players who are not in Antonio Conte’s plans this campaign.
Among them are Sergio Reguilón and Harry Winks, and Tottenham chief Fabio Paratici is at work to find them new destinations.
Three days ago, TuttoMercatoWeb explained negotiations to take the 26-year-old to Sampdoria are heading in the right direction. The Serie A side have made progress to sign the midfielder before the window closes on Thursday.
That’s according to the Italian club’s technical director, Carlo Osti. He told Sky Italia that his side have an agreement in place with Spurs to sign Winks.
“We have an agreement with Tottenham, we are defining the final details with the agents, we hope to conclude as soon as possible,” Osti said, as quoted by SampNews24.
Osti didn’t specify whether Sampdoria will buy Winks or take him on loan. TMW’s earlier report had stated he will leave Spurs on a temporary deal.
