According to a claim in the Belgian media, Leeds United defender Laurens de Bock will return to Elland Road this summer as he has no future at KV Oostende.

The fullback spent last season on loan with the Belgian club, but they will not make an attempt to loan him for another 12 months or try to purchase him on a permanent deal.

Voetbal Primeur today report Oostende’s new manager Kare Ingebrigtsen is planning a fresh start which will include sending back the players they loaned from other clubs, including De Bock.

It’s reported the Leeds United player failed to convince the Jupiler League side’s hierarchy, and that’s something which has been the theme in Belgium for much of the season.

The 26 year old is contracted to Leeds United until June 2022 but his future with the Championship side looks uncertain.

There’s been no claims in Belgium of interest from elsewhere and given De Bock has failed to shine at Oostende, his agent will have to do some serious work to find a new destination.
