Olympiacos right-back Omar Elabdellaoui has spoken to Norwegian football podcast Reverse Nisselue with regards to being linked with moves to Aston Villa and Celtic.
During the summer there claims in the UK press that Celtic were interested in the Norway international and a possible link up with national teammate Kristoffer Ajer.
More recently there were claims Neil Lennon’s spies watched Elabdellaoui during his country’s Euro 2020 qualifiers.
Aston Villa are also said to be interested in the defender as they look to bolster their squad in the coming transfer windows.
Quizzed specifically about a possible move to either Aston Villa or Celtic, the Olympiacos player said:”I’m really happy where I am & my focus is here. I’m happy here. Obviously, this is the last year of my contract so decisions will have to be made, but my focus is Olympiacos.”
Elabdellaoui will be out of contract next summer, meaning Aston Villa and Celtic will be able to enter into January talks with the player over a pre-contract agreement.
In recent days the 28 year old has also been linked with a move to Burnley following claims Sean Dyche is an admirer of the player.
He previously played for Hull City in the Premier League during the second half of the 2016/17 season, and has been key in Pedro Martins’ side this campaign.
