Fotospor claim Galatasaray defender Serdar Aziz has offered himself to Fulham ahead of the January transfer window.

Aziz was ruled out of the Istanbul club’s last game back before Christmas due to illness, but the player went to the Maldives on holiday that same day.

It seemed like he’d faked being sick to go on his vacation early, but his wife posted a photo on Instagram of Aziz in the Indian Ocean paradise… and it gave the game away.

The Turkish media say as a result the footballer won’t wear the Galatasaray shirt again and now Fotospor report he could be heading to Craven Cottage.

According to the Turkish newspaper Fotospor, Aziz’s preference is to play abroad if he leaves Galatasaray and the player has offered himself to Fulham via his agent.

It’s claimed Fulham had a previous interest in the Turkish international and this transfer could be a possibility when the window opens in January.

Claudio Ranieri will be looking to bolster his defensive reinforcements in the new year and signing Aziz may be an option for the Fulham boss.

The 27 year old has made 15 appearances for Galatasaray this season.
