Earlier on Thursday, there was positive news coming out of Italy regarding the potential transfer of Justin Kluivert to Fulham.
The Craven Cottage side have been after the Dutchman for quite some time, already reaching an agreement with the player, but had yet to convince AS Roma with their offer.
That’s because Fulham initially wanted a loan, while the Serie A club were trying to guarantee themselves some income, either through a full transfer this season or a loan with a mandatory clause to buy.
However, it was revealed by Corriere dello Sport that Marco Silva and co. had opened up to the idea of a loan with an option that became mandatory if a number of appearances were made.
Well, TuttoMercatoWeb bring the latest on the situation on Thursday afternoon by saying these are ‘decisive hours for the future of Justin Kluivert’.
This is due to the fact that his agent, Rafaela Pimenta, and Tiago Pinto, held a meeting ‘to discuss the player’s move to Fulham’, with the two parties ‘discussing the formula’.
It appears to have gone well, as ‘the deal is looking close to having white smoke’, meaning the green light being given.
