With Paul Pogba’s contract at Manchester United running out in the summer, the rumours of an exit have been ongoing for some time and continue to do so to this day.

One man who never helps in these situations is his agent Mino Raiola, often coming out at very opportune times to say one or two sentence that tend to set tails wagging.

This year has been no different, as the super agent recently had a brief chat with TuttoMercatoWeb, who wasted no time to ask him about the potential return of Pogba at Juventus.

While he was rather cryptic about it all, his message did hint heavily that something could be in the works by saying: “Dreaming is free, I don’t forbid anyone to dream, it’s good. Then let’s see if they come true. December is the month for dreaming with Christmas and the holidays, it’s still too early, let’s see what happens.

“We don’t know why, but when we talk about Pogba in England, even the dead wake up. Some former Manchester United players, if they don’t talk about Pogba and me, they don’t talk about anything. So it’s better not to talk about it.”

It’s well known that Manchester United would like to keep Pogba around, such is his ability to change a game with the right pass, but his inconsistency has caused a vast majority of the Old Trafford faithful to turn on him over the past few months.

His red card against Liverpool certainly didn’t help, with him then missing crucial fixtures against Tottenham (a 3-0 win) and Manchester City (a 2-0 loss), where he could have played a part.

We’ll have to see what comes from all this, but when Raiola crawls out of his evil lair to talk to the press, it’s normal for a reason.
