As you might have heard over the weekend, Moise Kean, already struggling to get into the first-team at Everton, isn’t in the club’s good books.
The youngster broke quarantine rules by having a house party, which the Toffees have already released a statement about, and all this has, of course, led to rumours of an exit in Italy.
Normally it’s AS Roma who are the ones linked with the former Juventus starlet, but this time, it’s Napoli, courtesy of Corriere dello Sport.
The article appears to be a mishmash of ideas, originating from the fact Everton have shown interest in Allan, as well as been linked with a move for Hirving Lozano.
As for Kean in all this, he fits the type of profile Napoli are looking for: a young, versatile player that can be moulded into whatever you want him to be, liked by Cristiano Giuntoli, their director of football, and whom Gennaro Gattuso ‘doesn’t mind’.
There, however, would be the need for ‘work to be done on his character’ and make it ‘fit for Naples, to prevent the tempting city from misleading him’ more than the forward already manages to do himself.
Any deal between the two sides involving two or all three players would ‘force a prolonged dialogue and assessments that everyone will try and personalise in their own way’.
As things stand, there isn’t talk of Napoli definitely making a move for Kean, nor that Everton will come knocking for both Allan and Lozano, but it’s a situation that could suit all parties if everyone agrees on it.
One to keep an eye on but not get excited about just yet.
