Right now it feels like everyone in Italy is claiming the inside track on Cedric Soares moving to Inter Milan.
To pick just one out among many, journalist Alfredo Pedulla claims an agreement was found in the ‘last few minutes’ and everything is now ready for the transfer to be completed.
The Portuguese fullback is set to travel to Italy on Friday and undergo a medical the same day so everything can be official.
He says it’s a loan for Inter with a right of redemption, although no figures are mentioned. It means the Milan club will have a fixed price for a summer permanent deal but don’t have to use it, and can send the player back if they so wish.
Earlier, TMW claimed Inter would pay €1m for the loan, which seems something of a bargain.
Today’s edition of Portuguese newspaper A Bola stated there was agreement on a €20m transfer.
The last claim sounds the best for Saints and it wouldn’t seem so beneficial to agree to the others… but that’s being reported in Italy.
